When I established Opium in April 2006 I wanted to open something completly different, a place where my friends and I would love to shop, with beautiful fabrics, amazing colours, styles and interesting and quirky gifts. The reaction was overwelming and customers continually comment on what an 'experience' it is to shop at Opium.

Extensive research and regular trips to Paris and New York has meant that many of our brands are exclusive in most cases to Cornwall, and in many, to the whole UK. Labels such as Bella Jones, Odd Molly, Paige Denim and Rutzou, so there's little chance of seeing your outfit anywhere else

We stock designers from Japan, L.A, Italy and Paris, as well as providing a valuable outlet for the home-grown talents of those in Cornish fashion industry.
